Tea
plants are easily attacked by various insects and diseases. Damages caused by
pests not only hinder the cultivation of good tea but also disrupt the healthy
growth of the green tea. Particularly the teas that are most delicious are
also prone to become the favorite target for insects and pests. A certain amount
of agricultural chemicals is necessary to protect tea from severe damage. But
it is just as true that the safety of agricultural chemicals used is the main
concern of any good tea farmer. The
laws of Japan concerning agricultural chemicals are: 1: Food Sanitation Law 2:
Agricultural Chemicals Regulation Law 3: Water Pollution Control Law 4:
Soil anti-pollution Law etc.
If either the producer or the user of agricultural
chemicals does not comply with each of these laws they cannot be used. Therefore,
only agricultural chemicals fulfilling the safety standards 100% are properly
used for the cultivation of our Maiko products. Moreover, our customers can be
assured that we strictly check and keep the government standards for all pesticide
residue. Please continue to enjoy our teas. They are delicious, safe and healthy. |
